• IT Professional
Upon receiving my B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University
of Tennessee Chattanooga (UTC), I started working full time
with Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) as a Data Analyst. Before
graduating I did two separate internships with TVA working as
an IT Tech Support operator and the other working in IT Planning
as a Project Management Tool Administrator. I have been full
time with TVA for 4 years now. My internships lasted 1 year
4 months and 8 months. |

• Entrepreneur
While pursuing my Computer Science degree at UTC I minored in
Entrepreneurship. I took some great classes such as Creativity
in Business and New Venture Creation. This sparked my creativity
and gave me an entrepreneurial drive that spurred some entrepreneurial
projects. The first project was an online retailer selling angel
gifts and collectables. From that I grew into wanting to sell
my own product which became a book I wrote "My College
Tips". Today I still work on selling and promoting my book
and do some website hosting and design in my spare time. This
keeps my entrepreneurial spirit at bay until I come up with
a great idea for a new venture.
• Author
"My College Tips" is a gift book for graduating high
school and new college students. The book contains over 450
actual tips for different categories of topics that any college
student might encounter during their years in college. The book
was written based on a notebook I kept during the last 2 years
of my bachelors degree of things that I had learned during my
8 year undergraduate career. It is written for students so they
can learn quick tips to help them make the most of their college
experience while ultimately succeeding by graduating with a
degree. For more information about the book go to www.MyCollegeTips.com.
